Hartmann’s filter is a flexible, modular biofilter system that can be customized to meet the individual requirements and capabilities of each customer! It is dedicated to food processing plants that struggle with smoke from smoking, fish odor, garlic, onion, and other nuisance odors.
How does it work?
Thanks to a bio-matrix consisting of a biological wood layer in a sustainable manner, the Hartmann system filters polluted air from toxic gases and hazardous materials such as endotoxins, bacteria, dust, and odors. This process ensures the best possible air purification – keeping people, animals, and the environment in mind – without the use of chemicals! Unlike alternative solutions, in the Hartmann Biofilter, the filtered substances undergo biological degradation, becoming harmless.
There is an opportunity to observe a sample Hartmann filtration system, for example, in Germany.
Each Hartmann biofilter system is designed according to the individual needs of the customer. The construction uses durable, corrosion-resistant materials to ensure a long and trouble-free lifespan. Filters are delivered as ready-to-assemble sets on-site, with the filtration material loaded according to detailed instructions.
WHY IS IT WORTH IT?
• Significant reduction of dust and odors.
• Significant reduction of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from smoke emissions, such as smoking fumes.
• No need for chemical additives. • Lower investment and operational costs.
• Much lower costs compared to catalysts and incinerators.
• No need for daily monitoring.
• No production downtime due to the system’s cleaning-free operation.
• Proven reliability after 10 years of testing.
