Microwave oven SAIREM AMW 100

The French company SAIREM specializes in the production of batch and tunnel thawing machines using microwave or radio frequency technology. The product can undergo the thawing process both without packaging and in cardboard or plastic film packaging. Radio frequency waves are primarily designed for thawing products in even cubes, such as fish. Microwaves, on the other hand, are suitable for thawing irregularly shaped products. The thawing process from -20°C to -4°C / -2°C takes between 3 to 15 minutes.

SAIREM AMW microwave ovens

The AMW ovens allow for the thawing and tempering of deeply frozen food such as red meat, poultry, fish, fruits, vegetables, cheese, butter, and more, in a very short time. The optimal distribution of microwaves in the chamber, thanks to multiple microwave power inputs, ensures a perfect and uniform final temperature throughout the product.

  • Reliability: Requires minimal maintenance, except for daily cleaning
  • Hygiene: No bacterial growth, complies with all hygiene regulations and standards
  • Flexibility: Can be used for tempering packaged (cardboard or plastic film) or unpackaged food
  • Compactness: Small footprint
  • Connected: USB and Ethernet connectivity for remote control

Performance

AMW offers a defrosting capacity ranging from 250 kg/h to 400 kg/h, starting from an initial temperature of -18°C and reaching a final temperature of -4°C / -2°C, which is the optimal temperature for further processing such as dicing, grinding, slicing, etc. The efficiency of the defrosting process varies and depends on the desired final temperature, the type of product (meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, butter, etc.), its shape, and fat content. Graphs on the following pages depict the figures. The maximum microwave power that can be utilized for defrosting is limited by the products themselves, not by the AMW oven. Power recipes in relation to time need to be selected based on a compromise between efficiency and heating uniformity.
