Technical information
The machine comes in three types:
A-Skin 45: with a cutting and belt width of 434 mm
A-Skin 55: with a cutting and belt width of 554 mm
A-Skin 75: with a cutting and belt width of 754 mm
The new MAJA A-Skin deskinning machine is a fully automatic machine for deskinning flat pieces. Thanks to the infeed belt and outfeed belt, the machine can be integrated, for example, into a deboning line.
Depending on the product, it may be necessary to adjust the cutting thickness. To do this quickly, the thickness can be adjusted using a handle on the side of the machine. The handle has an indicator for the product’s cutting height. The cutting thickness can be adjusted up to 7.5 mm. The machine is perfectly suited for removing skin from all types of pork cuts, such as neck, loin, belly, or shoulder. Thanks to the wider belt (554 mm), it is much better suited for cutting and deskinning large pieces of meat.
MAJA A-Skin perfectly removes skin without leaving residues on meat pieces for increased efficiency and greater profit. The machine boasts extremely high throughput and operating speed, as meat pieces can be randomly placed on the infeed conveyor in unsorted positions.
A distinguishing factor of the A-Skin is its ability to operate without the need for compressed air connection, which ensures lower operating costs. The knife holder is equipped with a practical “quick-release” which positions the knife correctly and secures it in place without tools. It also remains permanently in the machine and is only set to the service position for blade replacement and cleaning. All this enables quick changes and minimizes downtime.
